Delete your account and data

In short

You can delete the account inside the app: Profile → Settings → "Delete account".
Every photo goes with it — published finds and attempts alike.
Full erasure takes up to 30 days. It cannot be undone.
No access to the app? Write to [email protected].

Option 1. In the app (fastest)

Open Founday and go to the Profile tab.
Open Settings.
Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete account".
Confirm in the dialog that appears.

The account closes immediately, you are signed out, and those credentials can no longer be used to sign in.

Option 2. By email

If the app is not available — you already removed it from your phone, for example — write to [email protected] from the email address the account is registered to and state your @handle. Subject: "Account deletion".

We may ask one clarifying question to confirm the account is really yours, and will delete it within 30 days at the latest.

What exactly is deleted

the account itself: email address, password hash, the link to your Google account;
your @handle and display name;
your date of birth;
all photos: published finds and unpublished attempts;
game progress: streak, collection, likes, ranking positions, freezes;
all active sessions and devices;
notification, language and appearance settings;
your list of hidden players.

What may be retained, and why

Payment and subscription records	Kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. The payment data itself is held by Google Play as the seller of the subscription
Material connected to an investigation of abuse or illegal content	Retained where the law requires it or where it is needed to protect other people's rights
Anonymous statistics (for example, "N people completed the task that day")	Contains no personal data and cannot identify you, so it remains
Service logs and backups	Cycle out normally: logs within 90 days, backups within 30 days

Timing

Immediately: the account closes, sign-in stops working, your finds disappear from the shared feed.
Within 30 days: data is erased from live systems and backups.

I want to delete one photo, not the whole account

Write to [email protected] from the account's email address and tell us which shot — we will remove it.
